What We Built
We created an Internal Policy & Contract Q&A Agent that acts like an on-demand HR & legal assistant.
It ingests PDFs, understands the context, and answers natural language questions instantly. It doesn't just chat; it highlights obligations, compares clauses, and ensures every answer is backed by the source text.
From PDF to Answer
Vector Indexing
Documents are uploaded, chunked, and stored in a FAISS index, linking text to specific metadata (page number, section).
Retrieval
When a user asks "What is the leave policy?", the agent's tool `retrieve_sections()` finds the exact relevant clauses.
Reasoning
The LLM reads the retrieved sections, summarizes the answer in plain English, and checks for any conflicting rules.
Citation
The final answer is delivered with citations, highlighting the exact paragraph in the document for transparency.
